Color Range Test

HDMI/DisplayPort signals can be sent as Full range (0–255) or Limited range (16–235). If your source and display disagree on which one is active, shadow detail near black or highlight detail near white gets crushed to a flat block. With the correct range setting, both bands below should show a visible gradient rather than a single flat color.

Full range: these bands should be visible as gradients, not flat blocks.
